Reliance Jio since its official inception on September 5 started acquiring users with the “welcome offer” that cover free data and voice calls with its 4G network till 31st December 2016. But Reliance is planning to extend its free services i.e. it's “Welcome Offers” till 31march 2017 to extract more subscriber to reach their 100 million targets.

Thera are things that need to know about Reliance Jio. As per the directive of TRAI, Jio plans to stop the welcome offer on 3rd December 2016 and extend free services to 31 December 2016. According to TRAI regulations, a telecom operator cannot offer a plan with free services for more than 90 days.
It cannot be misleading that you can’t enjoy free benefits. As per the TRAI directives Reliance Jio should not provide new connections in the name of Promotional Offers. The company can extend the free benefits to the existing subscribers. Though the free services provided by reliance are costlier, this doesn’t affect the customers in the offer period.
Reports from the Reliance Jio said that the company has reached 16 million customers on its Jio network in less than a month. Still, many customers are getting reliance Jio SIM and activating them.
Motilal Oswal analyst said in a note that “Mass-scale free welcome offer could continue until March 2017 to attract subscriber’s growth toward the celebrated 100 million mark with RJio’s indicative data pricing at Rs130-140 per GB,”
Since Jio official launch from 5 September 2016 there is a mass porting/shifting from other services to reliance jio services. Reliance failed to give the taste of the high-speed internet connection and free voice calls because of the various reasons like interconnection issues stacked by other networks which are the biggest competitors for the Jio network. Experts said that there are gradually solving these issues and this is the time to give excellent service to the customers.
Since, all the technical and non-technical issues are solved; this can be the main reason behind the reliance jio’s decision to extend unlimited calls and data so that the network can provide the better experience for the customers and to show that reliance is different from other networks in their services.
