9 Hidden Features Of Facebook Messenger everyone must know

Facebook messenger app from Facebook for Mobiles had made friends reach where ever they are. This app made easy for sending messages to friends. Group conversation also can be done with this.

It has a feature of getting free notification on your mobile or tablet, so that we can see messages as soon as it arrives. Facebook has released many features to messengers, but we hardly use most of them

Here are some hidden and exiting features that we don’t usually use in our conversation or chatting.

1. Send a beautiful Music to your loved ones.

Sometimes few lines of text may not express our actual feeling to our loved ones but instead of that we can send a music/song that exactly shows our feeling to them. Facebook Messenger has a feature to send this type of messages.

How to send Music:

Click the button on the right side of bottom when you’re in chat.
Scroll down to find Spotify app and Install it
Login using Facebook credentials.
Tap on the right bottom side of chat.
You will find Spotify app, tap on it
Search for the song you want to send tap on it and send

2. Instead of Photos send a short video

Sometimes instead of photo a video can shows more than required. In such cases it is desirable to upload a video to your friend or loved ones. Facebook messenger has come up with the opportunity of sending video as a message.

How to Take a video/photo and send:

Open conversation and tap on the camera icon
Press and hold on the circle and press on the send button Your video will be sent.
Tapsends to take and send photo.

3. Chatting without opening messenger

Now you can chat from Mobile home screen to your friend by creating a shortcut menu without opening the messenger.

How to create shortcut:

Open Messenger main menu.
Just hold your finger on the photo of your friend a menu will pop up.
Choose create shortcut on the pop up menu and press your shortcut icon will be added to your device home screen
Open the shortcut and chat with your friend without opening messenger.

4. Start to play chess game with your friend.

Now chess game can be played with your friend

Open messenger and tap on the friend with whom you want to Play.
Text @fbchess play as text to your friend and send Chess game will be automatically started in the message Conversation area.

5. Start to play basketball:

You can even play basketball in your messenger.

Here is the procedure:

Tap on the right most top corner icon.
You will redirect to setting menu where you can find Emoji Button

6. Start to play football game:

You can play football game by following the same procedure above, we tap on the emoji and get football and play it. Tab on the ball and let the ball be above the bottom and keep it and does not allow it to come down by repeated tapping on it.

7. Share your Messenger Username and QR code.

In order to start conversation with people we can share your messenger username and people can find you by searching username.

To get messenger username:

Tap on the icon on top right
Beneath your photo, tap your username link to copy or share it.

In order to start conversation with messenger code we have to scan a person’s code with your phone that open the option send them a message.

Tap on right top icon
Tap your picture on the page.
Tap my code to let someone scan your code, or scan code to scan someone’s

You can publish your messenger code to let people find easily.

8. You can change like button for another:

Your like button can be changed from thumbs up to any other you liked.

Here is the procedure:

Go to messenger chat and tap on the top right corner.
Click on the emoji option.
Select the one you like within the list that appears that best fits for for your conversation.
