How To Lock Your System Without Using keyboard Or Mouse

              As the technology grows, the life has become very simple.Even the complex things are getting smarter. 

        

If you want to lock your system what  will you do?

 

#you will take keyboard press ctrl+alt+delete on keyboard

              Or

#you will press Windows + L.

   

In these two cases you will use keyboard in order to lock your system.

    But is there any other way of locking system without using keyboard or mouse?
 

Have you ever thought of locking the system in this way?

               Yes, there is a way of locking the system without using the keyboard. This can be done with a Btprox an open-source application also called Bluetooth Proximity Lock Utility application.

                BtProx is a small window application. It locks your system when you go away from system. All you need is to pair a Bluetooth device to your system. Once you walk away from the system i.e., out of the Bluetooth range your system get locked automatically as for the time set in the timer.

*Installation and working Procedure:

#download BtProx application from here

 

#Install on your system (laptop or PC with Bluetooth connectivity).

#Pair your phone or any Bluetooth device to the system. If you have already done this pairing before you can skip this step.

#now open BtProx installed on your system.

#Select your phone or Bluetooth device from using “…” button next to “Used device” label.

#Set timeout after which your system has to lock when the Bluetooth device not in range.

#you can set lock command, but this step is not necessary.

#you can directly press start button.

#the icon of the program shows orange when the device is within Bluetooth range.

#when the phone moves out of Bluetooth range of the system the device disappears  and icon turns red.

#now your system shows the countdown time for locking. This time is set by us in timeout label. After this time system automatically get locked.

#You can abort locking, by just right-clicking the icon in the system tray and choose “Abort workstation Lock”.

                   Any Bluetooth devices can be used.  This is very interesting application .With this you can set an automatic locking system and turn on PC security system when you leave away from your system.

BtProx application works on both Windows XP and Vista. It is working in windows 10 also.
