     Facebook is a social networking site with millions of users active online sending messages, uploading photos, and videos. These Facebook videos ones shared reaches millions of user. The videos by default will be automatically playing when we open the News feed resulting in data usage.



       By default, videos are set to autoplay on Facebook. As a result, there is wastage of data unnecessary on the data plans we recharge. In order to avoid this, we can stop videos from automatically playing on Facebook. These Facebook videos can also be downloaded easily.These Facebook videos can be watched Offline when the data is running shortage from data plan.

Here is the procedure to turn off autoplay option in Facebook to stop videos from automatically playing:

Step1: Click on the drop-down icon on the Facebook home page at the top-right corner and click on the settings option.

Step2: The Facebook setting page will be opened and in that, click on the videos option to the left-side bottom.

Step3: Videos setting page will be opened. Under video setting, you can find Auto-Play videos options. At the end of that option, there is drop-down with options, default, on and off. Click on the off option.

Step4: These settings applies only to Facebook website i.e. while using Facebook on your PC or Laptop. Now your auto-paly option is turned off.
