These are different types of cookies. But, these cookies are required for the proper performance of web pages. For security reasons or privacy concerns some cookies need to be blocked.
Cookies are a type of message given to Web browser by a Web server. The browser stores the message in a text file. The message back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server. The main purpose of a Cookie is to identify users and possibly prepare customized pages or to save login information for you. All browsers support enabling or disabling cookies.
This procedure below will tell you how to enable cookies (turning cookies on) and also how to disable cookies (turning cookies off):
1. Click chrome menu (three dots on the top-right corner of browser Window).

2. Click settings from the drop-down menu.

3. At the bottom of the new window, click show advanced settings…

4. Under privacy section, click the content settings button.

5. In Content setting windows, under Cookies you can find four options:
· Allow local data to be set (recommended)
· Keep local data only until you quit your browser
· Block sites from setting any data
· Block third-party cookies and site data.
Use this cookies section to change your settings.

6. To enable cookies in chrome browser, select Allow local data to set (recommended).
This allows first-party cookies and third-party cookies.
Disable cookies in chrome browser:
Disabling cookies will prevent some websites from working correctly (i.e., you are prompted to re-enter information that would normally have been stored in a cookie).
7. To disable cookies in chrome browser, select Block sites from setting any data.
Disabling cookies blocks all cookies, when you disable this feature most sites that require you to sign in won’t work.
8. To allow only first-party cookies and block all third-party cookies, check the box next to Block third-party cookies and site data.
This setting means that site data cannot be written and read, even if you have added a site to the exceptions list and have chosen to allow its cookies.
9. Click done to save the changes.
All cookies are allowed by default, but it up to you to adjust the settings and clear cookies for all sites or for certain pages.
Not all cookies are bad. For example, some cookies help the website remember your preferred settings so it can reload them when you revisit the site some other time. Cookies can also help remember your location, to provide you with locally relevant content.
