If you’re crazy about the notification of your name on the web then Google’s new ‘Stay in the loop’ feature will send a notification to your Gmail Id whenever your name is mentioned on the web.
This is an interesting move from google reading the minds of the people.
Ever since google showed the feature in the last month people are eager to know of its arrival and now with the google spokesperson to Venture Beat in an email of its feature it is now live in India many people are clicking on the widget to create alert.
How to Activate?
You can find a new widget at the bottom of the first page of search results.Set up a new google alert for new references of your name.Adjust settings like email frequency, sources types, languages, region among other information.
This is responsive move from Google to allow users to find out what is online about themselves. This widget can further be adapted to get alerts on music, politics, games, cars, technology and films.
