Block a sender in Gmail:
Gmail added the new feature to block a sender and stop receiving unwanted emails by adding them to the block list.
Step1. Sign into Gmail by entering username and password.

Step2. Open any email you want to block from the sender.

Step3. At the top-right of the email, click down arrow and click Block [sender].

Step4. A pop-up block this email address appears. Click on the Block button.

Once you click on the Block, all the future messages from the sender of the email will be marked as spam.
Blocking an email from a sender will actually send the future emails from the sender email address to the spam folder to technically live on. But, Gmail has never given a genuine option Block, in which unwanted email is simply never received.
Unblock a sender in Gmail:
Please do remember that if you have blocked a sender accidentally, then you can follow the same procedure above and unblock.
All you have to do is open the email you had unlocked accidentally, and click on the top-right of the email and click Unblock [Sender].
