This feature provides information about the last activity on this mail account and any concurrent activity.
The last activity page shows your sign-in records, and includes the information below,
Concurrent session information: The “concurrent session information” section includes details of Gmail sign-in on another device, browser, or location.
Click Sign out of all other web sessions, to sign out of all sessions except opened one.

Access type: all the details about the browser, device, or mail server (like POP or IMAP) through with Gmail is accessed, is given.
Location IP: You can see last 10 IP address and the locations regarding access of your Gmail account.

This page includes security related actions you have taken, like signing into your Google Account, changing your password, or adding a recovery email address or phone number.
It a good practice to keep last account activity enables always so you can hear about suspicious activity on your account. If you choose to disable the last account activity, you can do at your own risk.
